Canada Post Strike - Invoices & Payment Options for Customers

A possible Canada Post service disruption could begin as early as May 23, 2025, depending on the outcome of ongoing labour negotiations between the Canadian Union of Postal Workers and Canada Post. In the event of a strike, all mail delivery and pickup services will be suspended nationwide.

At Robinson Lighting, we’re committed to keeping our lighting trade account partners running smoothly—no matter the circumstances. To help ensure there are no interruptions to your invoicing or payment process, we’ve outlined some simple alternatives below.

HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR INVOICES

If you normally receive invoices by mail, we recommend switching to one of the following options:

Stop by your nearest showroom to collect your invoice.

Request to have your invoices sent directly to your inbox.

For local accounts, our reps can deliver invoices to your business.

If you regularly receive deliveries, we can include your invoice with your order.

PAYMENT OPTIONS THAT WORK AROUND MAIL DELAYS

Our regular payment terms still apply, but we’ve got multiple methods to help you avoid disruption:

In-Person Drop-Off at your local Robinson Lighting branch.

Payment Pickup by Sales Rep (available to local account holders).

Credit Card Payment via phone or email (note: cash discounts do not apply).

Contact our team to request banking details for EFT or bank transfers.
